《解放了的普罗米修斯》是英国浪漫主义诗人珀西·比希·雪莱创作的四幕诗剧，取材于古希腊罗马神话和埃斯库罗斯的悲剧，发表于1819年。该诗剧重构了普罗米修斯反抗宙斯暴政的神话：宙斯最终被推翻，普罗米修斯获救，宇宙迎来新纪元，由此象征人类进入废除皇权、平等自由的理想社会。该剧融合了无韵素体诗与多种诗歌形式，充满浪漫主义色彩，是一部伟大的经典作品。

 

作者简介

珀西·比希·雪莱（Percy Bysshe Shelley，1792-1822），英国浪漫主义诗人、理想主义者。出生于英格兰萨塞克斯郡贵族家庭，1804-1810年就读于伊顿公学，1810年进入牛津大学学习，随后被开除。1813年发表长诗《麦布女王》，1814年与哲学家戈德温之女玛丽私奔，流亡欧洲，后与拜伦结识交往，1818年定居意大利，1822年因遭遇风暴乘船溺亡，年仅29岁。其诗歌对后世影响巨大，被视为浪漫主义精神的象征。代表作有《西风颂》《致云雀》《解放了的普罗米修斯》等。

But One, who throng those bright and rolling worlds

Which Thou and I alone of living things

Behold with sleepless eyes! regard this Earth
