It is responsible for borrowing and reading of Chinese current issues and reading service inside the library of Chinese newspapers, Chinese back issues, foreign language newspapers and Hong Kong and Taiwan newspapers of Cultural Center Library and Fukang Road Library. Cultural Center Library has borrowing and reading area for Chinese journals, reading area for Chinese newspaper and reading area for Chinese back issues and classics. Fukang Road Library has borrowing and reading room for Chinese journals, reading rooms for Chinese newspapers and foreign language, Hong Kong and Taiwan journals.
